How to plan periodic maintenance for your car
Build a maintenance plan around your vehicle handbook, service records and a clear workshop quote.

Use the vehicle handbook
Maintenance intervals depend on the make, engine, vehicle age and use. Follow the manufacturer handbook rather than assuming the same interval applies to every car.
Keep a simple service record
Record the date, mileage, work completed and parts used at each visit. Bring the record to your next appointment so the workshop can understand what has already been done.
Separate checks from replacement work
A filter check does not necessarily mean replacement is needed. Ask the workshop to explain recommended work and obtain a quote that separates labour, parts and additional charges.
Choose a clear package
Select a package that fits the work you need and confirm exclusions before booking. Motoronics demo maintenance prices cover stated labour; parts, oil and additional work require a confirmed quote.
